Role Available:
SEND Teacher - ARC Provision (Part Time)
* Teaching within the school's specialist ARC (Additionally Resourced Centre)
* Delivering tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs

About the role:
• 3 days per week (term time only)
* Based in Solihull (B90)

* Working with pupils with a range of SEND needs
* Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
* Working closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school team
What we're looking for:
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and experienced teacher with a strong background in SEND.
You will:
* Have recent experience working in a SEND specialist setting or school (this must be evidenced)
* Be confident supporting pupils with a range of complex needs
* Have experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons
* Have a patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Work effectively as part of a team

* Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B90

• Adapt learning activities and resources to meet pupils' individual needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, SENCOs, and wider multidisciplinary teams

Working Hours Monday to Friday Full Time
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements The successful candidate will:
• Hold a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 is desirable)
• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, SEND Support Worker, Care Worker, or in a similar role supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND within either education, care, or residential settings
• Demonstrate patience, resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Be confident managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support strategies
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
• Be available to work full-time from September
