About the role

The Grove, part of the SEARCH Education Trust, is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and young people. The successful applicant will, therefore, be required to complete checks in line with the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education with regard to DBS and other pre-employment checks. Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Salary: Scale 4 £30,288 to £31,611, pro rata, actual salary £27,532.96 to £28,735.61 Location: Haringey Contract Term: Term time only, 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm) Closing Date: 9 a.m. on Friday 18th September The Grove is a vibrant and inclusive special school for young people with autism, located in Haringey and part of the SEARCH Education Trust. We are seeking a friendly and highly organised Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our front office team. As the first point of contact for the school, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors, callers, students, and staff. The ideal candidate will be approachable, efficient, and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, positive manner. You will be responsible for ensuring the Front of House operates smoothly, maintaining a tidy and professional appearance at all times, and fostering strong, supportive relationships across the school community.
