About the role

About the Role: We are seeking a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for West Somerset College, you will play a key role in providing a welcoming and efficient service to students, parents, visitors and members of the wider community. Alongside reception duties, you will provide administrative support across a range of areas, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the College. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and telephone enquiries. Providing reception cover and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment. Supporting student admissions, transitions and leavers' processes. Maintaining accurate student records and administrative systems. Assisting with College events, communications and general administrative tasks. Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider College community.
