Admin Assistant Burton Joyce Primary School Burton Joyce Primary School is seeking to appoint a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Admin Assistant to join our dedicated and welcoming office team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a thriving village school at the heart of the community. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in providing excellent customer service to children, families and staff. No two days are ever the same in our school office. From supporting pupils and parents to helping organise trips and events, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school. If you enjoy variety, teamwork and making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role As one of the first points of contact for visitors, parents and pupils, you will be a valued member of our school community. Key responsibilities include: Managing and monitoring pupil attendance records Administering school dinner bookings and payments Supporting the planning and organisation of educational visits and school trips Coordinating and administering our after-school clubs programme Providing efficient administrative support across the school Delivering a warm, professional and welcoming front-of-house service About You We are looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities Remains calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Is proactive, reliable and adaptable Works well both independently and as part of a team Has good literacy, numeracy and IT skills Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism What We Offer A friendly, supportive and experienced staff team A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day A welcoming village school community A varied and interesting workload Opportunities to develop your skills and experience within school administration Working Hours Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm 35 hours per week Term-time only Join Our Team If you are looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and supportive school, we would love to hear from you.
