Job description

Salisbury Road Primary School are looking for an After School Club Assistant who can support high quality and varied activities for the children within a safe and caring environment. The After School Club Assistant will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the club. We are looking for an After School Club Assistant who will: Deliver a varied programme of high-quality play opportunities in a safe environment Support the development of independent social skills Help to prepare snacks, cleaning club room and toys, reporting any damages and tidying up etc Help to implement positive behaviour strategies Liaise with parents to enable the effective operation of the club Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team About the School Salisbury Road is two form entry primary school that serves the locality of St Judes, near the city centre. We are situated in a large, three-storey, Victorian building in the heart of the community, and work closely with many local partners. We pride ourselves on being a warm and friendly school and aim toenhance and inspire the lives of not only the children that attend our school but their families and wider community.
