About the role

The Governors of St Sebastian’s RC Primary School are seeking to recruit a dedicated and talented teaching assistant to join our welcoming school.

We are looking for candidates that will:

Aim to develop their skills under the guidance of school staff; Be committed to undertaking an apprenticeship framework in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools at level 2 (18 month study period); Be committed to undertaking functional skills in maths and English at Level 2 (if exemptions don’t apply) Be able to listen to advice given and follow clear directives; Have a positive approach to working with children; Commit to developing independent learners and encourage our children to achieve their potential; Be flexible in working across all key stages; Be able to work efficiently and independently; Promote a nurturing environment that stimulates positive behaviour and well-being; Commit to working in partnership with all those involved in the life of the school;
