About the role

The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to support the Catering Manager in planning and preparing our school menus, using the school nutritional standards, with aspirations to develop further. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for all aspects of school life. Job Role Assist the catering manager to prepare and cook nutritionally balanced meals in accordance with the dietary needs specified by the school foods standards, within the budget and within all the health and safety guidelines. As Assistant Cook, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of catering operations and deputising for the catering manager in their absence. Assist the line manager with any office duties. To provide a professional, friendly and efficient service for the staff and children. Canditates are welcome to visit the school before applying by contacting the school office.
