Job description

See Person Specification on Job Description. Lead the school's attendance strategy, promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across all year groups. Monitor, analyse and report on attendance data, identifying trends and coordinating effective interventions. Work closely with students, families, school staff and external agencies to improve attendance outcomes. Line manage attendance staff and ensure attendance processes comply with statutory and local authority requirements. Play a key role in supporting student welfare, safeguarding and achievement. Suitable for a proactive, organised and resilient individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.
