About the role

Title: Attendance Officer Responsible to: Senior Leadership Grade: L3c (Points 6 to 9)

About role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a high level of student attendance. Monitor and report on pre-16 student attendance data, analysing data to identify key areas of concern. To work closely with students, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue. This is a challenging and rewarding role and the successful candidate will require dedication and a highly efficient, organised, flexible and responsible approach.
