About the role

37 hours per w Alderman White School is seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive and professional Attendance and Inclusion Administration Officer to join our dedicated Inclusion & Attendance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference to the lives of our students. Working closely with the Schools Inclusion, Attendance Team and wider school staff, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the effective delivery school inclusion, attendance and wider school administrative services. You will play a key role in helping the school provide an inclusive, supportive environment where every student can thrive. The Role As the Attendance and Inclusion Administration Officer, you will: Provide administrative support to the School’s Welfare and Attendance Officer Maintain accurate student records and confidential documentation in line with GDPR and the school MIS system requirements. Assist with the coordination of student registers, meetings and annual reviews, including preparing paperwork and taking minutes where required. Support the attendance processes, including communication with families and external agencies. Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure effective administration across the school. Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, carers and external support services. Respond to enquiries from families and professionals in a friendly, helpful and timely manner. Provide administrative support to the SEND team including minute-taking for meetings including EHCP annual reviews. Support the supervision and organisation of the Student Reception area, maintaining school routines and expectations, resolving issues where possible or referring these to the appropriate colleague. Provide administrative support for funding applications, referrals and EHC applications. Coordinate meeting schedules with parents and carers, external agencies, and local authority professionals on behalf of the SEND team. Support the maintenance of up-to-date SEND and inclusion registers, student files, and digital tracking records on the school system (Bromcom) and CPOMS. Be a confident first aider or willingness to undergo First Aid training Alderman White School is a friendly, thriving and stimulating place to work and study.
