About the role

Are you passionate about making a positive difference to young people's lives? Do you have the confidence, resilience and interpersonal skills to promote positive behaviour and help students achieve their best? Penrice Academy is looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and committed Behaviour Lead to join our team. Working closely with school leaders, teachers and the wider behaviour team, you will play an important role in promoting high expectations, positive relationships and a calm, purposeful learning environment where every student can thrive. You will support the consistent implementation of the school's behaviour policy, work directly with students to improve behaviour and engagement, and help identify patterns and trends that inform effective interventions. The role also involves working closely with parents and carers, supporting the operation of our Reset Room and ensuring students receive the guidance, boundaries and encouragement they need to make positive choices. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships while maintaining clear expectations. You will be calm under pressure, confident in managing challenging situations and committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible difference to the everyday experiences of young people and contribute to the positive culture of Penrice Academy. For more information, please see the recruitment pack. Cornwall Education Learning Trust is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory safer recruitment checks and references, including an enhanced DBS check.
