Job description

We seek to appoint a Behaviour Support Officer for 37 hours per week, working term time only to join our team at Barlby High School Barlby High School is a friendly, warm and caring community school with staff that are fully committed to supporting students and each other in bringing the school's vision to life. The school is on a transformational journey and we are looking for a colleague to join us on that journey. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, inspirational individual, and who is passionate about outstanding education and developing the whole child. The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Behaviour Policy, improving behaviour of identified students whose behaviour is a barrier to their performance. Responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on attendance and behaviour data. The postholder will place a strong emphasis on safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive relationships, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated to attend school every day.
