Behaviour Support Assistant Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027 Grade 5, point 11-15 37 hours a week 38.2 weeks per year (term time, includes Trust Development Day, plus one school INSET day) Start Date: September 2026 Closing Date: 28 August 2026 Interviews planned for first week of September This is an exciting opportunity to join our Behaviour Support team at Ralph Allen. The Behaviour Support Team play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of behaviour and learning are supported throughout our School. The successful candidate will: • Have experiencing working with challenging behaviour • Be passionate about supporting young people’s Mental Heath • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Be able to remain calm, patient and supportive in challenging situations • Have a willingness to work as part of a team and adapt to the needs of students In return, we can offer a friendly, stimulating work environment where you will be supported by an outstanding Senior Leadership Team and wider Trust colleagues. The successful candidate will be appointed on their skills and experience, however, as important will be your approach, attitude, and beliefs.   Ralph Allen is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children: the successful applicant must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
