Careers Lead & Work Experience Facilitator Start date: November 2026 Salary: Full Time Equivalent £29,554 / Actual £26,805 Hours: 37.5per week, 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Contract type: Permanent

Term time plus: 38 school weeks plus training days and two weeks flexible/holiday working

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to join us as our Careers Lead & Work Experience Facilitator this is a key role at Cornerstone, with responsibility for leading the Academy’s careers education, information, advice & guidance programme in liaison with our independent careers adviser and organising and facilitating all aspects of Year 10 Work Experience. This role has a high level of autonomy so would suit a candidate with a proactive and flexible approach and a passion for student progression and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

Outstanding organisational and communication skills Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team An aptitude for delivering presentations to groups Excellent IT skills Ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines Previous education experience or industry linked careers experience would be an desirable but not an essential as training and support will be provided.
