Catering Assistant

About this Role St Giles Spencer Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Catering Assistant to start as soon as possible on a part time, term time only, permanent basis. This position will be based at our Sir Frank Whittle Road site where some lone kitchen work is expected. You must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be an effective team member and be calm and creative in your approach to working with pupils with additional needs. We also need someone who is physically capable of setting up the dining hall which will include putting tables up and tidying them away, as well as dining chairs.

The Working Hours for the role are:

Permanent, part‑time role 15 hours per week Monday to Friday, 10:45am-1:45pm Term time only plus INSETS (39 weeks per year) Are you passionate about providing a ‘world class’ education for pupils with special educational needs, ensuring that they reach their full potential.
