Job description

De Lisle College is a Catholic school which serves the communities of north Leicestershire. As a Catering Assistant, you will support the kitchen team to deliver a high-quality food service, ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and customer service. Duties will include: Basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients) Serving food and drinks to customers Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas Setting up and clearing service areas and dining spaces Washing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environment Supporting with stock rotation and deliveries Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedure Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but is not essential. More important is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, good communication skills and a williness to work as part of a team.
