We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team here at Nottingham Academy, Secondary Site! 18.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The successful applicant will provide support to the Chef Manager, ensuring that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to prepare and serve meals and provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils. Working as part of a dedicated team, providing catering services to pupils, you will need to demonstrate: Working knowledge of HACCP, and Health and Safety in a Catering environment. Experience working within an education environment, though this is not essential. Good organizational ability. Excellent hygiene and health & safety practices First class communication skills
Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or be willing to work towards this. Uniform and training will be provided.
