Catering Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in providing a high-quality catering service for our pupils and staff within a supportive school environment. As a Catering Assistant, you will help ensure that meals are prepared, served, and cleaned away efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages. Supporting basic cooking activities under supervision. Serving and transporting meals. Setting up and clearing dining areas, service points, equipment, and furniture. Washing crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen, dining areas, and associated facilities. Assisting with the movement and arrangement of dining furniture. Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Catering supervisor/Manager The successful candidate will: Have a positive and flexible approach to work. Enjoy working as part of a team. Be committed to providing excellent customer service. Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
