About the role

Class Teacher Maternity Cover Required November 2026 Billingshurst Primary Academy is committed to providing the highest quality learning for all children. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated Class Teacher from November 2026. The salary range is Teachers Main Scale. In the event that this date changes due to an early or delayed return to work by the postholder you will be given 8 weeks notice We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about primary education and has a well-developed personal ethos of how children learn best. Is an experienced teacher who can foster excellent relationships with children. Has a proven track record of enabling children to make strong progress. Has high expectations of all children and is able to inspire and motivate. Is able to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school and its community. In return we will offer you: In-class adult support.
