Essential for this role:

Educated to honours degree or above

Qualified Teacher Status

Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum

You are likely to have:

Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Primary Curriculum

Knowledge and understanding of statutory assessment requirements and arrangements

Knowledge and understanding of the implications of equal opportunities, multicultural education and inclusion

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation and guidance

You may have:

Knowledge and understanding of current research into effective learning strategies, educational trends and issues

Willingness to take on subject leadership of a curriculum area if required

Experience:

Evidence of relevant professional development
