About the role

KS2 Class Teacher Little Minds. Big Dreams. Endless Possibilities. Could you be the teacher who helps our children discover just how brilliant they can be? Every great adventure begins somewhere. For our children, it often begins in a classroom with a teacher who believes in them, inspires their curiosity and makes learning something to look forward to. We have a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring and creative Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our lovely primary school community, part of St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. We're looking for someone who can make the ordinary extraordinary. Someone who understands that teaching isn't just about lessons, books and assessments. It's about building confidence, encouraging kindness, celebrating individuality and creating those magical moments when something suddenly clicks. Someone who will help our children learn, laugh, grow and believe that anything is possible. What makes a great teacher in our school? We know that the best classrooms are places where children feel happy, safe, valued and excited to learn.

We're looking for a teacher who:

Makes learning come alive , bringing creativity, enthusiasm and imagination into every school day.

Believes in every child , recognising their individual strengths, celebrating their achievements and helping them overcome challenges.

Creates a classroom full of curiosity , where questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of learning and children feel confident to have a go.

Has high expectations and a kind heart , balancing ambition and challenge with patience, understanding and encouragement.

Builds wonderful relationships , with children, families and colleagues, recognising that the best outcomes come when we work together.

Brings our Catholic values to life , helping children grow not only academically, but as compassionate, respectful and thoughtful young people.

Never stops learning , embracing opportunities to develop their own teaching practice and share ideas with others.

You'll have Qualified Teacher Status, a sound understanding of the primary curriculum and a genuine passion for helping children flourish. Most importantly, you'll bring warmth, positivity and a belief that every child deserves an excellent education and someone who sees their potential. A classroom where you can make your mark As our KS2 Class Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels they belong. You'll plan and deliver inspiring lessons, adapt learning to meet individual needs and support children to develop the knowledge, confidence and independence they need for the next stage of their journey. You'll work closely with a supportive team of colleagues, contribute to the wider life of our school and help create those special experiences and memories that children carry with them long after they've left primary school. And while there will always be planning, marking and the occasional lost glue stick, there will also be laughter, wonderful little surprises and the enormous privilege of watching children grow in confidence and ability because of the difference you've made. Why join our school and Trust? When you join our school, you're not just taking on a teaching role. You're becoming part of a caring school community and a wider family of colleagues who share a belief in the power of education to transform lives. As part of St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust , you'll benefit from: A welcoming and supportive community , where relationships, kindness and working together really matter.

Excellent professional development , with opportunities to develop your teaching practice, explore new ideas and grow your confidence.

Genuine opportunities for career progression , across our family of 25 academies and the wider Diocese of Nottingham.

Access to our Leadership Academy , supporting colleagues who aspire to take the next step in their careers.

Membership of the Teachers' Pension Scheme , providing valuable benefits for your future.

Support for your wellbeing , including access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme, available 24/7.

Nationally agreed teachers' pay and conditions , reflecting our commitment to recognising and valuing our colleagues.

Above all, you'll have the opportunity to do a job that matters, surrounded by people who care deeply about giving children the very best start in life. Are you ready to make a little magic happen? If you're the kind of teacher who celebrates the smallest victories, loves seeing children's faces light up when they discover something new, and believes that every child has the potential to achieve wonderful things, we'd love to hear from you. Because the lessons you teach today could shape the person a child becomes tomorrow. Come and be part of something special. Inspire their curiosity. Nurture their confidence. Help their dreams grow.
