About the role

Reception Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) Wallace Fields Infant School, Surrey Wallace Fields Infant School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, nurturing and highly motivated Reception Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover contract. We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time work. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference at the very start of a child's educational journey. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and can create a stimulating, inclusive and supportive learning environment where children feel happy, safe and inspired to learn. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, promote excellent outcomes for all pupils, and foster a love of learning that will stay with children throughout their school life. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging learning experiences, assessing and tracking pupil progress, creating a positive classroom culture, and working closely with colleagues and families to support each child's academic, social and emotional development. We are seeking a teacher who has high expectations for all learners, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues alike. In return, we offer the opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive school community, alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to providing an exceptional education for every child. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those at the earlier stages of their teaching career who are excited to develop within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Applications are encouraged as soon as possible. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a high volume of suitable applications, therefore early application is advised.
