Salary Range: Teacher's Main Pay Scale Points 1-6

Actual Salary: £13,627 - £18,776 Start Date: 1st January 2027

Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

The School Marlow Church of England Infant School (Marlow CofE), locally known as Sandygate, is a mixed-gender primary school. The school provides specialist early education for children aged 4 to 7 years old (Reception through to Year 2) across two forms of entry. Marlow CofE School is part of the Marlow Education Trust (MET), which is a Multi-Academy Trust committed to excellence in education, ensuring the highest possible quality of education for all children in our community. The MET was founded to support education in schools in the local community in and around Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

The Role

The successful candidate, will have strong subject knowledge, high expectations for all pupils, and the ability to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families to provide an engaging, inclusive learning environment where all pupils thrive both academically and personally. Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class/es ensuring equality of opportunity for all Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils Act within, the statutory frameworks, which set out their professional duties and responsibilities and in line with the duties outlined in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards (2012) Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
