Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. The school prides itself on its inclusive, nurturing approach and strives to ensure that all pupils thrive and have a brilliant start to their education! Is an experienced KS2 teacher with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and securing strong outcomes for pupils. Understands the importance of strong pedagogy, is able to deliver high-quality first teaching and is committed to continually developing their practice through professional learning and coaching. Is reflective and continually seeks to improve their teaching to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children. Is a team player who can build positive professional relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community. Is enthusiastic, approachable and able to make learning engaging, memorable and inspiring for all pupils. Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies to create a positive and purposeful learning environment. Respects and promotes the Christian vision and values of our school.
Experience of teaching mixed-age classes. Experience of teaching Upper Key Stage 2. Experience of subject leadership, particularly in Maths.
