The role is physically demanding and involves cleaning to a consistently high standard, as well as lifting and moving furniture when required. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across all areas of the school, including classrooms, offices, food technology, toilets, the restaurant and other communal areas. Our cleaning service is delivered in-house by a dedicated team of morning and evening cleaners, and we are now looking to strengthen our evening provision. The Academy typically becomes quieter from around 4.00pm, once our after-school clubs have finished, providing an ideal opportunity for the evening cleaning team to focus on maintaining the highest standards across the site. All members of the Site Team undertake annual mandatory training, including COSHH training, ensuring that everyone has the knowledge and skills required to carry out their role safely and effectively.
