Job description

This role is for 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, Term Time only. Part time may be considered for the right person. Starting salary will be £18869.50 (actual) Our Multi Academy Trust is a group of inspirational and aspirational mainstream and specialist schools in Yorkshire, whose main objective is to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress through the development of outstanding staff. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our school environment. This is a vital position within the school, combining cleaning responsibilities with site management duties to create a welcoming and secure setting for our students, staff, and visitors. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive site walk to ensure the premises are safe, clean, and ready for the day ahead. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across the site. Your primary duties will include general cleaning tasks, such as tidying classrooms, corridors, and communal areas, as well as ensuring hygiene facilities are fully stocked and in good working order. In addition, you will take responsibility for identifying and reporting any potential hazards or maintenance issues during your site checks, ensuring they are promptly addressed to maintain a safe environment for all.
