Role: Cleaner (2 x positions available) Start Date: September 2026 Reporting to: Site Manager Salary: Grade 2 (SCP 3) - £24,796 (FTE Salary) / £8,041 (Actual Salary) Contract type: Permanent, Part time, Full year Working hours (12 hours per week): Either Monday - Thursday (6am to 8.30am) & Friday (6am - 8am) OR Monday - Thursday (3.30pm - 6pm) & Friday (3.30pm - 5.30pm) A bout Us This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust, which collectively educates over 4300 children, and employs over 450 professionals. Each of our good and outstanding academies operates at the heart of their local communities. The Foundation’s central offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College campus set in beautiful grounds. This role is based at The County High School, Leftwich, which is a high performing, fully inclusive, co-educational, 11-16 school with approximately 1050 students, 60 teaching and 60 support staff. The school serves a mixed catchment area with a Published Admission Number of 210, and we are now significantly over-subscribed. Further details about The County High School, Leftwich, can be found in the attached documents. About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join our school. Our school is where students enjoy and achieve during their time here and we strive to ensure our colleagues are motivated, happy, supported and have satisfaction from their role. The purpose of the cleaner role is to undertake the cleaning of designated areas within the school. Undertake cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets and shower area) and fixtures and fittings, using, where appropriate, powered equipment. Holiday cleans - thorough cleaning of all areas. Your Responsibilities Please refer to the job description attached. What we are looking for Experience of cleaning Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required. Ability to follow instructions.
