Job description

This role is for 22 hours per week, this is term time only for 39 weeks of the year. Monday - Thursday 1pm - 530pm Friday 12pm - 4pm You will be required to work across the whole building including the Hall, class rooms and colleague areas ensuring the pupils have a clean, tidy and safe environment About Us Brompton Hall School is based within private grounds in the pretty village of Brompton-by-Sawdon and is a Special Education School for pupils aged between 8 and 16 years. Our Multi Academy Trust is a group of inspirational and aspirational mainstream and specialist schools in North Yorkshire, Hull and South Yorkshire whose main objective is to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress through the development of outstanding staff. You can find out about recent activities via our Instagram page. Our Pupils We are a specialist school for pupils aged 8 to 16 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our pupils join us from mainstream schools because they benefit from a setting that can provide additional behavioural support and a more personalised approach to helping them succeed. We are looking for someone with: Experience of working in a team, preferably in a cleaning role, but training will be provided Ability to work using own initiative, manage own workload within timescales Self-motivation with a flexible approach to their role and responsibilities Emotional resilience to deal with challenging situations, including challenging behaviours and attitudes from pupils.
