About the role

Vacancy for a Cleaner at Crosshall Junior School Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 3, Point 3 £7,023 Hours of work: 12.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 2.5 hours per day. The hours can either be 2.5 hours every morning (6:00am-8:30am) or 2.5 hours after school (15:30pm-18:00pm). 39 weeks (term time plus 5 days) We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic cleaner to join Crosshall Infant School! You will play an important role in ensuring our school provides a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. You will follow agreed cleaning schedules and ensure that all areas are cleaned to a consistently high standard, helping to provide a positive learning environment for our pupils. Responsibilities To operate effectively both domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment. To use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and inform the cleaning supervisor when stocks are low. Work to academy guidelines at all times, particularly in relation to the health and safety policy. To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order. The ideal candidate Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Ability to undertake all the physical aspects of the post. Ability to move and use domestic and industrial type cleaning equipment. Commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
