Job description

Join the dedicated support team at St Peter's Collegiate Academy. As a Cleaner, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our students experience "life in all its fullness" by maintaining a high quality, hygienic learning environment. This is a permanent position offered at £12.85 per hour. currently but a pay award is pending This role is for 11.25 per week, Monday to Friday , to be worked at 2 hours & 15 minutes each day after school , flexibly between the hoursof 3.30 pm - 6.30 pm. Key Responsibilities Working under the direction of senior staff, you will ensure designated areas are kept in a clean and safe condition. Your duties will include: General Cleaning: Mop sweeping, vacuuming, buffing, and spray cleaning. Hygiene Standards: Cleaning of toilet facilities, fixtures, and fittings to achieve high standards of cleanliness. Specialist Care: Stripping and resealing hard floors and the safe use of cleaning machinery. Health & Safety: Ensuring the safe use of chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH and Trust policies. All interviews will be held 'in person ' at the academy. Three Spires Trust and its academies are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; Section 128 direction check; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work. All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references.
