Appointment of a Cleaning Assistant Grade 3 (£12.85) Actual Annual Salary - £7,541.57 12.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 3:00pm- 5:30pm Permanent Term time plus 3 weeks Required ASAP (Subject to DBS clearance) Harlescott Junior School is looking to appoint a reliable and friendly cleaning assistant to join our hardworking site team. We are proud of our welcoming school environment and are seeking people who take real pride in helping to keep our school clean, safe and well cared for. Key Responsibilities: Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared area Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard Follow health and safety and hygiene procedures Work as part of a team to support the smooth running of the school Take pride in maintaining a pleasant environment for pupils, staff and visitors The Successful Candidate Will: Be friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Take pride in their work and pay attention to detail Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual Experience of cleaning is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided Harlescott Junior School is a welcoming and inclusive school, and we value the vital role our cleaning team plays in keeping our school environment in tip ‑ top condition. The Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks with statutory bodies.
