Job description

Bridge Learning Campus Primary are looking for a committed and proactive individual who can build positive relationships with pupils, support their learning and wellbeing, and help ensure every child feels included, valued and able to succeed. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with staff and families, bringing strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, alongside a positive attitude and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. Salary: FTE - N13 £29,064.00 - N17 £31022.00 / Actual Salary - N13 £20,609.28 - N17 £21,997.70 Contract: Part Time, 30 hrs p/w over 4 days. Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:15pm (Some flexibility on specific days) Closing date: Tuesday 15 September at Midnight Interview date: WC 21 September 2026 Key Responsibilities: *please refer to job pack attached for further information Where possible, liaise with the class teacher to plan the delivery of cover work to a high standard.   Ensure that students carry out curriculum tasks set by the teacher and assist students in understanding the nature of these tasks in order to minimise the effect of the teacher’s absence upon the students’ learning.    Provide feedback to the class teacher(s) on the progress made by students with the curriculum tasks set.   To keep the learning environment secure and endeavour to leave classrooms as found   To act on behalf of the teacher in ensuring   the Health and Safety of students in the classroom, and   equal and fair access to learning opportunities   We offer: Enhanced CPD, including access to professional networks across the Trust Paid induction and training suited to the role Confidential access to an Employee Assistance Programme Free parking Use of the Cycle Scheme Paid completion of a DBS check Flu vaccination vouchers Free eye tests (where the employee is desk-based) Where eligible, automatic enrolment to the relevant pension scheme Honouring of continuous service earned in the Local Authority Fluency Duty This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time.
