As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring that students have a high-quality learning experience when their usual teacher is away from school. You will manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task and facilitate the activities that have been designed by teaching staff to ensure that students complete the work in an effective learning environment. If you are passionate about the young people in our community and want to be a part of ensuring their bright futures, then we would really like to hear from you. This role offers you the chance to step in and lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher for KS3 and KS4 students. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a broader contribution across the Academy. This is a fixed term part time role starting as soon as possible. You will be working 19.5 hours per week, term-time only, until 31 August 2027.
St Peter and St Paul, Catholic Voluntary Academy is a secondary school located in Lincoln. We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 35 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
Supervise the students in KS3, KS4 and occasional KS5, working on pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher. Be caring and supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.
