About the role

Job overview Deyes High School is a well-established secondary school located in the Sefton, committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. We are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. Skills and Qualifications: - Good communication skills with both students and staff - Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively - Basic organisational skills to follow lesson plans provided by teachers - Willingness to learn and adapt quickly - Reliable and punctual Values and Attitudes: - A positive attitude towards working with young people - Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment - Patience, empathy, and understanding of diverse student needs - Professionalism in all interactions within the school community - Enthusiasm for supporting education even without prior teaching experience If you are interested in contributing to our school community by helping maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
