About the role

This role is a fantastic opportunity for postgraduates who are interested in a career in education. Perhaps you have recently completed a degree level course and are now considering applying for teacher training? Or, maybe you want to gain vital classroom experience before starting your training? This role will provide invaluable insight and experience as well as the opportunity to benefit from training and support from our highly skilled, experienced staff. A Cover Supervisor needs to be a reliable, enthusiastic, positive and versatile individual. They will be responsible for supervising classes of students when teaching staff are on short-term absences. Work for the lessons will be set and marked by teachers. The successful candidate will benefit from a full induction programme including opportunities to watch and learn from colleagues. The role also provides multiple opportunities to engage in the wider school community and learn more about how schools work.
