About the role

Cover Supervisor Dates: Apply by midday on Monday 28th September 2026 Location: Rickmansworth Hours: 8.15am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Contract term: Permanent Salary: Academy Trust Scale based on skills and experience (starting salary £20,154 pro rata) Start Date: January 2027 The Reach Free School is looking to appoint a confident, supportive and adaptable individual to take on the role of Cover Supervisor. The role involves covering lessons for colleagues who are absent from school. The role would suit: A candidate with experience of working in a supportive role in a school environment A graduate seeking experience in a school environment prior to embarking on a programme to gain qualified teacher status (QTS). Online searches In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance, the school will conduct online searches on shortlisted candidates as part of the suitability assessment process.
