About the role

Data Manager Salary: Grade 7 SCP 25-29: £37,563 - £41,177FTE per annum. Actual salary £33,363 - £36,573 per annum 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 am to 4:00 pm. Term time only, plus 2 weeks in the summer holidays. Start date: December 2026 The Holt is a popular and oversubscribed 11-16 girls and 16-18 co-ed comprehensive school, which converted to academy status in July 2011. The school was judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in March 2023; there are 1469 students on roll (276 in the Sixth Form). We are seeking to appoint an organised, enthusiastic and highly accurate Data manager to join our support staff team. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing the school's data systems and ensuring that accurate, timely information is available to support both students and staff. The role includes responsibility for Arbor, student records, admissions, timetabling, school reports, review-cycle data, census returns and data analysis for Trustees, as well as supporting Sixth Form enrolment and other key school processes. We are looking for someone who: Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Is confident working with data, databases and IT systems. Can manage competing priorities and work to deadlines. Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team. Understands the importance of confidentiality and accurate record keeping. Experience of Arbor, Timetabler and/or working in a school environment would be an advantage.
