Job description

De Lacy Academy are looking to appoint a Data Officer to join our academy in October 2026, on a permanent, part time basis. Do you want to work for a Trust that is transforming educational outcomes for students in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England? If so, this could be the role for you. Your new role As a Data Officer, you will coordinate all aspects of information and data management in the academy, including preparation of timetables and maintenance of student and staff records in order to ensure the availability of accurate and meaningful data. Please see the attached job description on our website for the essential criteria and more information about the role. If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience required for this position, then we would very much like to hear from you. Your new school Here at De Lacy Academy, we have been on a journey that has seen the school judged as Outstanding by Ofsted. They recognised the hard work and effort that goes into making this school a successful and caring place of learning that meets the needs of its pupils and its community. With nearly 900 pupils aged between 11 and 16 housed on a campus that has benefited from much recent investment, De Lacy is a busy and vibrant place. We serve the ex-mining area of Knottingley and draw increasingly from the surrounding areas. We are experiencing a period of unprecedented growth across all year groups as the school delivers excellent outcomes and as the communities of Knottingley and Ferrybridge continue to develop. We're Proud Of Our Results The Academy is incredibly proud of its most recent results with 47% of students achieving a 5+ in English and maths in 2025. Our staff are talented and enthusiastic and have all contributed to the academy’s success story. We have a staff rewards budget and socialise both as subject teams and as a whole staff. We also have access to a staff benefits scheme. At De Lacy, we value the continuous professional development of all our employees and recognise that our staff and students are most successful when they feel happy, valued, challenged and supported to achieve their very best.
