Job description

DT Teacher - Resistant Materials/Product Design/Food Technology Specialist Required for September 2026 or January 2027 Age range: 11-16 Co-educational This is an exciting opportunity for a bright and innovative individual to join our Design Technology department at George Mitchell All-through School. who has a specialism in Resistant Materials, Product Design or Food Technology. You will be a highly committed, motivated and passionate teacher who can lead by example. We are looking for candidate who will maintain a relentless focus on strategies to sustain the highest quality of teaching and learning to achieve outstanding outcomes. You will be able to lead, strategically plan and motivate both students and teachers to achieve their full potential. You will have a real passion for the subject and have the necessary skills to take on the challenge of continuing the development of Design Technology at subject and curriculum level. George Mitchell is aspiring to be an outstanding school, and we welcome colleagues who want to join us, and our students, on that journey.
