Early Years Practitioner

Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner for a one-year fixed-term maternity cover position at Thingwall Primary School, which includes working within wrap-around and holiday club care. In this role, you will work closely as part of a team to deliver high-quality early years provision for children aged 2-5, supporting continuous provision, organizing engaging play activities, and promoting children's learning, emotional, and physical well-being in line with the EYFS framework and Development Matters. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years, GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, along with Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training, demonstrating strong knowledge of child protection, health and safety, and effective communication with both young people and parents. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and the successful candidate will be appointed subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, and social media checks.
