About the role

This is a temporary, full-time role supporting children aged 4 to 11 years across the school. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality learning support, helping all children to achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with primary-aged children. Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development. Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. Demonstrates patience, flexibility and enthusiasm. Works effectively as part of a team and can use their own initiative when required. Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The Role The successful candidate will: Support teaching and learning within the classroom and through small-group interventions. Work with individual pupils and groups to reinforce learning and promote progress. Support children's social, emotional and behavioural development. Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom environments. Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our values and high expectations. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and all pre-employment safeguarding checks.
