Engineering Technician

What we are looking for:

An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, qualification Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent). Practical engineering experience, ideally within machining, manufacturing, maintenance, mechatronics or a related engineering environment is preferred. An understanding of engineering workshop Health and Safety. Good practical and organisational skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with young people and colleagues. The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider teaching and support team. You don’t need to have a qualification in teaching or assessing, just a passion for Engineering, strong communication skills and a willingness to train on the job.
