Job description

The post holder is responsible for the day-to-day site management of Darrick Wood School, which includes the organisation and supervision of all matters relating to, and all staff involved with, the schools’ premises and grounds, providing a clean, safe and secure environment for all users of the building and associated grounds. This role includes both hard and soft services and working very closely with all external contractors involved in the smooth running of the school. The post holder will work closely with the Trust Estates Manager to ensure alignment with both School and Trust estates strategy and policy. A significant part of the role will be to ensure the school is legally compliant with all aspects of the law, including Health and Safety. The post holder will be responsible for the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) regime and ensure its on-going development and completion to the required standards.
