Job description

Estates Operative Location: Great Marlow School, however, you will be required to work across all Trust schools in line with operational needs. Salary: £28,607 (NJC Scale 2 Point 10) Working Hours: Between 07.00am-19.00, 37 hours per week (7.5 hours per day, working arrangements will be discussed during the interview) Working Weeks: Full Year (52 weeks) The Marlow Education Trust is looking for a proactive and reliable Estates Operative to help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. Based predominately at Great Marlow School, however the successful candidate will work across all schools which are part of our Trust, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and security of our sites. The Role The Estates Operative is a key member of the Marlow Education Trust’s Estates Department. The post holder supports the effective management, maintenance and safety of school sites across the Trust, ensuring that all buildings and grounds are secure, compliant and conducive to high‑quality teaching and learning. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Estates Operative delivers day‑to‑day operational support, statutory compliance tasks, maintenance duties and service across multiple schools. The role requires flexibility, professionalism and a commitment to maintaining consistent standards across the Trust estates. The Marlow Education Trust was founded to support education in schools in the local community in and around Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
