About the role

The Beacon School is seeking reliable, vigilant, and professional individuals to join their team as Exam Invigilators. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of examinations and maintaining the integrity of the assessment process. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a commitment to supporting students during this crucial time, we would love to hear from you! Your opportunity The Beacon School are seeking dedicated Examination Invigilators who will be employed on a casual basis to supervise students taking both internal and external examinations throughout the academic year. This is a casual position and we are interested in hearing from all candidates seeking flexible work. Examinations take place in the morning or afternoons, allowing for flexible working patterns. What we are looking for The ideal candidate will: Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Recognise the importance of confidentiality and integrity. Be fair and firm, but friendly and approachable in dealing with students Have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Respond appropriately to emerging situations Be reliable and punctual Remain calm whilst having a positive attitude Have attention to detail Please read the Job Description and Person Specification for more information.
