Finance Manager

The Cherwell School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated Finance Manager. The successful candidate should have a sound understanding of finance and be committed to providing an excellent and efficient service to all stakeholders. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate. This pivotal role involves working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Governors to support school development. About our school:- We are a high performing and oversubscribed comprehensive school in Oxford with approximately 2,000 students on roll, including 680 in the Sixth Form. We are delighted that we were judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (October 2022), as we feel this is a fair reflection of the school, not least as we recognize that we have the capacity to develop and improve further.
