Are you an organised, proactive and compassionate professional looking for a varied and rewarding role? DLSV Secondary is seeking an exceptional Headteacher's PA & Medical Lead to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal position, you will provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school's leadership functions. Alongside this, you will lead on the provision of student medical care, first aid and welfare support, helping to create a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher. Manage confidential correspondence, records, diaries and meetings. Act as a professional point of contact for staff, parents, governors and external stakeholders. Lead on student medical needs and first aid provision. Support safeguarding, attendance and student welfare initiatives. Coordinate communication and administrative processes across the school. Pay range: SCP 22 - 25 (37 Hours Per Week / 40 Weeks Per Year) £31,402.28 - £33,884.80 FTE SCP 22 - 25 (37 Hours / 52 Weeks Per Year) £34,811.00 - £37,563.00 Qualifications and Skills: Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. First Aid trained, with the ability to respond appropriately to student medical needs and maintain accurate medical records. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality documents and interact confidently with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage databases and administrative systems effectively. Proven ability to build effective working relationships and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. What are we about?
