We are looking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and ambitious team. Working closely with teachers, pupils and families, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences and helping pupils overcome barriers to achievement. Key responsibilities: Deliver high-quality learning activities and lessons across the school, including whole-class teaching during teacher absence or PPA cover. Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare and adapt learning activities that meet the needs of all pupils. Support pupils to achieve their full potential by promoting high expectations, engagement and positive outcomes. Provide targeted interventions and additional support for individuals and groups of pupils, including those with SEND and disadvantaged learners. Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, providing timely feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil progress discussions. Pay range: SCP 19 - 23 - £15,351.74 - £16,487.86 FTE: £33,119.00 - £35,570.00 19.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Permanent Qualifications and Skills: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Recent experience of working with primary-aged children in an educational setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and use initiative. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. What are we about?
