Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - ERP Provision Location: The Westwood Academy (and Trust sites) Salary: Grade 4, Points 6-14 Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 5 days Be part of a specialist SEND provision making a real difference We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) at The Westwood Academy. This provision, opening in September 2026, has been redesigned to offer a calm, supportive and nurturing environment for students whose primary need is cognition and learning. You will play a vital role in helping students access a personalised curriculum and reach their full potential. About the Role In this pivotal position, you will: Work collaboratively with the ERP Lead Teacher, SENDCo and teaching staff to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality learning for students with EHCPs Deliver targeted interventions to individuals, small groups and whole classes Support students in the ERP while promoting inclusion within mainstream lessons Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress Provide support for pupils’ educational, social, emotional and physical needs, helping them develop independence Build effective relationships with staff, parents/carers and external professionals About you We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting Has knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice Is confident delivering learning activities and supporting a range of needs Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is organised, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) What We Offer The opportunity to work within a specialist, purpose-designed SEND provision A supportive and collaborative team environment Access to training and professional development A rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference to young people’s lives Further details and application forms are available via the school website at: Vacancies - Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust Please apply via My New Term.
