About the role

We reserve the right to close applications early. About the Role Are you an inspirational and experienced HLTA with a passion for Early Years? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant EYFS team as we re-open our nursery provision in September 2026. In this role, you will work closely with our teaching staff to support high-quality learning, promote inclusion, and deliver targeted interventions. You will also be responsible for covering whole classes to facilitate PPA time, ensuring a safe, engaging, and purposeful learning environment. Key Responsibilities Whole-Class Cover: Deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom behaviour when covering teacher PPA time. EYFS Support: Plan, prepare, and deliver activities aligned with the Early Years framework, supporting children’s development, progress, and attainment. Inclusion & SEN: Work closely with the EYFS Lead to support vulnerable learners and children with additional needs. Observation & Assessment: Track progress, maintain learning journeys, and report on children’s development. The Ideal Candidate Holds the HLTA Status (or is willing to work towards it) and has a relevant Level 3 qualification. Possesses a strong, practical understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development. Is a flexible, resilient, and creative team player who thrives in a fast-paced early years environment.
